What is a team member vs a reader?

A team member is a person who contributes to your documentation, most likely somebody from your team. You are charged for extra team members.

A reader is a person who is reads the content, sometimes it could be an external person, sometimes your team member. You are not charged for readers.

What is a space?

A space in Archbee is the way you group documents under a single scope: a team, a project, or a topic. Spaces can be private to your team or published externally to a custom domain. Spaces are a foundational element of your product knowledge management. They act as a top-level container for documents you create in Archbee. Each space has a document tree, and each document can have 0-n children documents.

What use cases do you support?

We currently support a variety of use cases, to cover all your external and internal documentation needs. Product documentation, developer documentation, user guides, onboarding & training, process documentation, design documentation, automated customer support.

What are the included tokens for the AI Addon? How is overage charged?

The AI Addon needs to be purchased separately from your main subscription, with the exception if the subscription is Enterprise which has the AI Addon included. Only current Enterprise plans have the AI Addon included, not the previous ones. For previous Enterprise plans, the addon can be acquired at $250/m with the same nr of tokens.

If you have purchased the Addon, depending on your main subscription, we have a different number of included tokens:

For Growing: 100K tokens/month
For Scaling: 200K tokens/month
For Enterprise: 400K tokens/month

Completion tokens are charged a full token, while prompt tokens are charged half a token.

Additional tokens are charged at $0.06 per 1000 tokens.

Setting soft limits and hard limits for token consumption is available.

Can I export my data?

Absolutely — your data and your docs are yours. Easily export your docs individually or export your whole organization’s content. Documents are exported in Markdown format, or rendered PDF files.

What security practices does Archbee follow?

How secure is Archbee?

We regularly test our security with outside firms and security freelancers.

We also use daily backups, encryption at rest and in transit, a PCI Service Provider Level 1 payment processor (Stripe), and secure AWS services to keep your data safe.

What type of support is offered?

We offer support to customers through our live chat, or at support@archbee.com. We try to answer any question in less than 30 minutes, but sometimes it takes up to one business day.

Where's my data located?

Your data lives in AWS US east datacenters. We use CDNs and caches so that you & your users get a fast user experience no matter where you are in the world.

How are you using my data?

We collect usage events that help us improve our product over time. We will never share any data of yours with third party companies or governments.

Who owns the documents my team/company creates?

Your company does. At any point in time, at your request, we will provide you an exported file with any kind of data we hold and/or destroy it and all of its backups.

What happens when the free trial ends?

When the 14-day free trial ends, you can upgrade to a paid plan. Our free offering is not available at the moment.

Can I add or remove team members?

You can add or remove team members at any time from your account settings, team management section. If you add members, you will be billed the prorated amount on the next invoice.

Can I change plans after I sign up?

Yes, you can switch from monthly to annual payments or the other way around.

And you can also upgrade from one plan to another, or downgrade to a lower plan, should your needs change.

What happens if I am not satisfied with my Archbee purchase?
